We welcome you back for part three of our Quest Log, a segment where we ask GameSavvy writers a butt-load of questions. This time we spotlight one of the original six members of the Game Savvy family Emily Woodbeck. Surprisingly enough she didn’t answer Skyrim for all 50 questions.
Question 1: What’s your favourite game of all time?
Question 2: What’s a game you thought you’d like but actually hated?
Lords of the Fallen. It’s just way too challenging for me. I don’t like games where I just die over and over.
Question 3: What’s a really popular game everyone seems to love but you don’t like?
Final Fantasy I guess. Just never got into it.
Question 4: What’s a game you didn’t expect to enjoy but ended up liking?
Fire Emblem Three Houses, I cannot stop playing it. I’ve been playing it non stop. When you finally read this article I’ll probably still be playing it.
Question 5: What game have you spent the most amount of hours on?
Skyrim. Well, over a thousand hours on various consoles.
Question 6: If you had to marry the last video game character you played, who would it be?
I specifically turned Halo 2 back on for a bit so I could answer these questions with an ABSOLUTELY! Call me, Master Chief.
Question 7: If you had to live in the world of the last game you played, what world would it be?
Ok, now I was back to playing Fire Emblem again. I’d live in Fódlan if it meant I could go to a school where I drank tea and gardened all day.
Question 8: Have you ever had a crush on a video game character?
My list of video game crushes is way too long but Master Chief is my #1.
Question 9: What was the first game you ever remember playing?
The original Super Mario Brothers on NES.
Question 10: Have you ever pretended to be sick to get out of something so you could play a game?
Probably a lot of social functions.
Question 11: What game did you last complete?
Fire Emblem Three Houses. I’m almost done my fourth playthrough.
Question 12: What game(s) are you playing right now?
Fire Emblem, GreedFall, Halo 2, Pillars of Eternity again… ummm Gears 5… that’s it right now.
Question 13: What game do you want to play next?
I SHOULD play one of the hundred games in my backlog. But I’ll probably replay Dragon Age Inquisition.
Question 14: In your opinion, what is the best console?
I own all of them and honestly don’t think any are better. I primarily play Xbox.
Question 15: Are PC gamers really superior to console players?
Question 16: What’s your opinion on Fortnite?
I like Fortnite cause Battle Royale is the shit.
Question 17: Have you ever watched a Twitch stream?
Question 18: Have you ever streamed yourself on Twitch or YouTube?

Question 19: Have you ever used a walkthrough?
Yeah, usually for sidequests I’m too lazy to figure out myself (like the stone of Barenziah locations in Skyrim).
Question 20: What’s the best weapon you’ve ever used in a game?
The mace of Molag Bal is my all-time favourite game weapon.
Question 21: Have you ever had to stop playing a game because it was too scary?
I don’t play scary games.
Question 22: Has a game’s storyline ever made you cry?
I cried during Dragon Age Inquisition, any time there are epic cutscenes of people coming together for an emotionally-charged final battle I usually cry.
Question 23: What’s your favourite fighting class: warrior, mage, or rogue, and why?
Warrior. Tanks forever!
Question 24: What’s your favourite game genre?
Open world RPG.
Question 25: Do you prefer multiplayer games or to go solo?
I have a place in my heart for each because of how much I love Call of Duty.
Question 26: Do you prefer co-op or player vs player?
Question 27: What is the first console you ever owned?
NES, but it was my dad’s. My PS2 was the first I bought myself.
Question 28: What or who got you into video games in the first place?
My dad. He still loves video games, he’s owned every Nintendo console.
Question 29: What is the longest amount of time you have sat playing games non-stop?
Hoooo boy. I played a lot of Skyrim in university when I had literally nothing else to do so probably 15 ish hours plus?
Question 30: If video games didn’t exist anymore, what would you do?
Read, scroll twitter, write more. Netflix.
Question 31: What is your favourite song from a game?
All the sea shanties in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag.
Question 32: Have you ever wanted to live in a world from a game? If so, which one and why?
Yes Skyrim. I can’t play it VR or I might never stop.

Kassandra from Assassin’s Creed Odyssey – she’s boss.
Question 34: What’s a game you’ve spent the most amount of money on?
I buy the special edition of Call of Duty every year so that’s probably amounted to a lot.

The Dragonborn. Give me that Fus Ro Dah.
Question 36: Who do you usually choose as your fighter in Super Smash Brothers/Soul Calibur?
I’ve played smash twice and picked Pikachu.

Elder Scrolls VI.

The Arishok is technically a villain in Dragon Age 2 and I looooove the Arishok.

Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2.
Question 41: Are there any games you’re really bad at?
Fighting games. Anything where I can’t spray and pray or button mash.
Question 42: Have you ever seen somebody get really angry when they lose?

Elder Scrolls/Dragon Age.
Question 44: What’s more important: action or story?
Question 45: Is there a game that is considered to be really bad but is your secret guilty pleasure?
I don’t have guilty pleasures. I love Mass Effect Andromeda and it’s considered bad I guess, but I sure don’t feel guilty loving it.
Question 46: If you could have any video game character as your best friend, who would it be?
Dorian from Dragon Age Inquisition.
Question 47: If you could marry any game character, who would it be?
Question 48: Would you rather have loads of time to play games but only be able to buy two games a year, or be able to buy loads of games but never have much time to play them?
Two games a year. I basically only play the same 6 games over and over again even though I keep buying more. This would save me lots of money.
Question 49: In your opinion, what is the worst game of all time that you’ve played?
Harry Potter for Kinect. It could have been so good but it was just weird.
Question 50: Would you give up video games for life and receive $500,000 in cash, or would you refuse the money?
