Microsoft introduced the newest installment into the Metro universe, Metro: Exodus which you can play in 2018 for PC, Xbox One and Playstation.
From what the trailer showed, the game looked absolutely stunning on the new Xbox One X, the newest console from Microsoft. The lighting was fantastic and the game ran smooth and seemingly at 60 frames per second. The gameplay itself was an intense run through of what looked like an abandoned underground facility where you have to navigate and fight your way out of. Once out, we get a glimpse of the world that we’ll be playing around within Metro Exodus which looks vast.
It’s a beautiful shooter in post-apocalyptic Russia where you fight mutant animals like the giant bear you see in the trailer. If you don’t know, the Metro games are based on the novels Dmitry Glukhovsky, and takes place in Russia after being devastated by a nuclear fallout.
According to developers 4A, Metro: Exodus will encourage exploring the world they’ve created by including non-linear levels that will allow players to experience “spring, summer, and autumn and nuclear winter.
After watching the trailer, sign me up.
Admittedly, I own two Metro games but I’ve never actually played them. Now I have an exciting reason to jump right in for preparation of Metro Exodus.,
