Hideo Kojima and Norman Reedus showed up to show off a great 8 minute trailer for Kojima’s Death Stranding at The Game Awards 2017. It’s the most we’ve seen of the game and to be honest, I have more questions about it now than I did before. But to be super honest, that doesn’t matter because it looks like an ultra-dramatic horror sci-fi Kojima game and I’m pretty much already sold.
Here’s the trailer:
The trailer starts off with Norman Reedus (clothed this time) stumbling around and finding what I assume is a co-worker, who’s faced has been mashed up. We also get a look at another coworker who’s stuck under machinery. When it’s apparent that a being is nearby, the coworker ages rapidly almost 40 years by the looks of him.
It seems the game will have some time-warping, interdimensional storyline where you have to save the human race from these beings. And you also might eventually at some point have a baby inside you? I don’t even know man but it looks trippy and fun.
After the trailer, Norman Reedus and Hideo Kojima took the stage to thank the fans and worship the ground that Kojima walks on.
Still no word on when Death Stranding is set to release.
