The rumors were true!
Bandai Namco took the stage at the Game Awards to announce Soulcalibur 6 and it will be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in 2018.
We were given a brief teaser showcasing the game which you can watch below.
The game was revealed on stage by Tekken 7 producer Motohiro Okubo who showed up in a very interesting outfit. The game will run on Unreal Engine 4 and will be released just in time for the 20th anniversary! The first Soulcalibur was released in 1998 in arcades.
There’s a bar here in town called The Blurry Pixel and Soulcalibur is always a go-to game. Especially when you play on different consoles and get to choose between Darth Vader, Yoda and even Link! It’s a great weapons-based fighting game that’s a great combination of strategy and when all else fails… button mashing. Look for Soulcalibur in 2018.
