A new Elder Scrolls experience is hitting all platforms, including mobile, this fall. Todd Howard, the executive producer for Bethesda, has said that Elder Scrolls Blades will be a “uniquely mobile experience”. He later went on to say that they will put the game on as many platforms as possible, even VR. It’s a confusing statement, but we have trust in Todd.
The game features touch combat, letting you swing all sorts of melee weapons with the touch of your finger. It will also have both handcrafted and procedurally generated dungeons, meaning randomly generated dungeons. If that doesn’t tickle your fancy, there is also town building. The player can decorate, upgrade and build your own Elder Scrolls town. Doing so will give you new NPC’s, quests and weapon selection.
Todd has also said the game can be played in portrait mode on mobile, which many other games cannot do on the platform. We can’t wait until Elder Scrolls Blades comes to the Nintendo Switch.
